On April 30th, 2002 for just three nights Cilla returned to her showbiz roots on stage by giving a knock-out appearance guesting at London's Wyndham theatre in The Play What I Wrote.

A comedy directed by Kenneth Branagh the play pays homage to the British comedy duo Morecombe & Wise. To date the hit show has featured stars such as Ewan McGregor, Roger Moore, Joanna Lumley, Jerry Hall and more recently Kylie Minogue.
