Cilla is the final guest host of the 5th series
of the British comedy-variety show by Princess
Productions...
The Friday Night Project has been on UK screens
now since it first aired on Channel 4 in 2005.
Since then, it has become a firm favourite on the Friday night schedules. The award-winning show is
hosted by regular comic geniuses Justin Lee Collins
and Alan Carr who are joined each week by a
celebrity guest. |

During the current series stars such as Melanie C, Sharon Osborne,
Paula Abdul, Rupert Everett, Joanna Lumley, Kanye
West have all taken
part. For Cilla's edition of the show she filmed
segments with Justin and Alan at the 2007 Notting
Hill Carnival. The main part of the show was then
recorded in front of a live studio audience on
Thursday, 30 August at the very same studios where
Cilla used to film Blind Date.
As
ever Cilla
was faced with the show's trademark blend of wacky comedy sketches
(including a skit on Blind Date aka Bland Date),
Alan's topical comedy news desk Friday Night News,
a no-questions-barred session from the
audience and the closing prize quiz.
The hour long show is well worth watching so make
