It seems that Cliff and Cilla are inseparable of late. A friendship which dates back decades has become the catalyst to an unprecedented return to the stage for Cilla with a live guest appearance in April at the Royal Albert Hall (see full story) and then on 26 June 2004 Cilla joined both Cliff and The Searchers for a rendition of their hit Needles & Pins at the Dreamscope Ball (Wentworth Golf Club).

The good news is a new Cliff Richard DVD titled Cliff Richard Live (Castles in the Air) has captured some of the duo's magic by including a live performance they gave in front of 11,000 fans at Leeds Castle (filmed 25 July 2004). They performed a version of Kim Weston's song It Takes Two with a few verses blended in of Bonnie Tyler and Shakin' Stevens's A Rocking Good Way (To Mess Around and Fall in Love).

The beautifully produced Region 2 DVD also contains a documentary that shows the pair visiting the castle's falconry, winery and maze.
