This Christmas Cilla will reprise her role as the Fairy Godmother in everyone's favourite panto 'Cinderella'.
Cilla will
headline one of the biggest ever family Pantomimes in
Buckinghamshire at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre which is
one of the region’s leading
live entertainment venues.
Expect a lorra,
lorra sparkle to the enchanting show which organisers describe
as "bursting with lavish sets, glittering costumes, a live
orchestra, hilarious boo-able ugly sisters and real Shetland
ponies" which will truly wow Aylesbury audiences. The show is brought to you by
First Family Entertainment - the same
leading panto producers which were behind Cilla's sell-out run
in the same magical role at the Liverpool Empire in Christmas
2008 (see video clip below).
The role of the Fairy Godmother
will be shared between Cilla and one other top celebrity guest
star still to be announced. Real life heart-throb Gary Lucy (Hollyoaks, Footballers’
Wives and Dancing on Ice) also stars as Cinderella’s dashing
Prince Charming and TV’s funny man Andy Collins stars as
Buttons, along with a fabulous supporting cast.
Please note that Cilla will
guest star in the production between 10 and
22December 2010 (except 10.30am performances
on the 14th & 15th).
