A new interview with Cilla
will launch the 2nd series of ITV1's 'Piers
Morgan's Life Stories' chat show which begins on Saturday, 10
October 2009 at 10pm (straight after the 'X Factor').
The filming for the
all-new interview took place on the 30 September 2009 at BBC
Television Centre in London as part of the entertainers 45th
anniversary celebrations. According to onlookers who attended
the recording session it ran for a staggering 3-hours and was a
deeply moving and thoroughly riveting discussion about all
aspects of Cilla's life and career. An hour of highlights from
what many are heralding as a true "event" will make the finished
programme.

Tennis star Boris
Becker and Spice Girl Geri Halliwell are among the other
interviewees confirmed for the 2nd series. Each show features an
in-depth interview with the Britain's Got Talent judge who has
previously interviewed Katie Price, Sharon Osbourne and Sir
Cliff Richard.
