Cilla will soon be back on the box as a guest star on ITV’s sun soaked cult comedy ‘Benidorm’ which returns soon with a 4th series!

The hilarious show recently clinched the viewer’s vote for ‘Most Popular Comedy Programme’ at the 2011 National Television Awards. Cilla will appear, as herself, on the first episode of the brand new series which was filmed last year and airs Friday, 25th February at 9pm on ITV1.

For the storyline the Liverpudlian superstar now owns Madge’s mansion in Benidorm much to the surprise of the Garveys (Siobhan Finneran and Steve Pemberton). She also has scenes with the swingers Donald (Kenny Ireland) and Jacqueline (Janine Duvitski) who help Cilla with her decorating. Expect a lorra, lorra laughs!

Series 4 is expected to be released on DVD later in the year.
