I see that at long last two more of Helens lps Ear Candy and Well Sing In The Sunshine have made it on to a two on one cd. Ear Candy includes her version of Youre My World. Its well worth a listen. Helen had a huge amount of fame for relatively few years, these days you rarely hear of her. I saw her at the London Palladium back in the middle 70's , you may be able to hear me clapping on the Live In London cd, and musically she was excellent although I dont remember there being a lot of personality. She is one of those singers that I dont listen to that often, but when I do listen I am always pleasantly surprised by how good she is.

I used to really like Helen Reddy. I had a fav album of hers. I can't remember the name of it now. Played it to death and then gave it to my sister because it had a lovely song called 'ah my sister' for her sister, Toni Lamond. There was a song 'Stella by Starlight' for her mum, 'You and Me against the world'. It was a 'family album' with the most beautiful songs on it.
